Sydney Brooks
B.S., West Virginia University (Summa Cum Laude, 2018)
5th Year Ph.D. student
Brief Bio
I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and lived there until I moved to West Virginia to complete my B.S. in chemistry (go mountaineers!). I had originally planned to become a forensic chemist, but after doing undergraduate research in Dr. Suzanne Bell’s lab I decided I wanted to stay in the world of academic research. After graduating from WVU in 2018, I joined Prof. Rosi’s lab for a summer rotation and here I am! I work on using sequence to inform nanostructure in peptide-based nanoparticle assembly.
