09/2024 Two new undergraduate researchers join the group: welcome Tori and Manu!
07/2024 Yiwen and Mattheus' paper on controlling ligand exchange in stratified MOFs is accepted to Angewandte Chemie. This project spanned ~5 years and included a few year long experiments. We are all very happy that it is now published!!
07/2024 Our paper on the stability of helical nanoparticle assemblies is published in Langmuir! This study was completed by Dr. Yicheng Zhou and Yuyu Zhang.
04/2024 We bid farewell to five undergrads: Donny, Ryan, Victoria, Zhehao, and Zhengkai. Donny is off to PPG Industries, while Ryan (MIT), Victoria (Michigan State), Zhehao (WashU), and Zhengkai (Duke) will pursue graduate studies. Congrats all!
03/2024 Logan and Joaquin are awarded Wass Summer Undergraduate Fellowship awards to continue their research during the summer!
09/2023 Congratulations to Zoe on her first 1st author publication in Chemistry of Materials! Zoe led a collaborative team from Pitt and University of Minnesota to develop predictive post synthetic methods for rationally tuning MOF color.

03/2023 Sydney's latest work uncovering the molecular basis of helical structure transitions is published as an article in J. Am. Chem. Soc.! Great work team! This was another fun collaborative effort with Prof. Tiff Walsh and her group at Deakin University in Australia.
03/2023 Sydney successfully defends her dissertation detailing the effects of peptide sequence on the structure and properties of nanoparticle assemblies. Congrats Sydney! Ph.D. #16 from the group!
